Willow Weaving Animal Sculptures 2023
​
Come along for the day, the last Saturday of the month and learn how to weave an Animal Sculpture in willow. Over the last few months we have had numerous, Herons, Hares a leaping, moon gazing., boxing and sitting, chickens galore, piggies,stags heads, rabbits, squirrels and lizards to name a few! You name it Natalie can probably help you make it!

Willow Basket Making Sundays 2023
​
On the last Sunday of the month we welcome you to our Willow Weaving Basket Workshop, shopping baskets/frame baskets, plant baskets. You will go home with a super basket.
I have had the pleasure of working with Natalie Mclay of Trottiscliffe Willow for a few years, Natalie regularly has her work exhibited at Hampton Court and RHS shows. A great tutor who works well in groups, making sure each individual gets the right amount of help. You will have great fun, learn a new skill and take your own animal sculpture or basket home.

What a lot of fun this workshop is.

Using Acrylic paints and a simple grid system you will be shown different fun techniques and skills on how to paint a funky long necked bird or animal onto a long canvas using the colours of your choice. You will end up with a super piece of artwork to take home a pop on your wall.

Following on with our Funky Animal Series of painting workshops let us introduce you to this magnificenly shaggy Highland Cow. He is really fun to paint and to get free and let yourself go!

We love seeing what everyone produces from the delicious little tiles that Audrey brings along with her.Using excellent instruction from Audrey, you will learn how to create a succesfull design using templates and professional tile nippers to snip and place your tiles.We have added extra time to enable you to finish your creations on the day.Sessions are very relaxed and welcoming. Suitable for complete beginners and those already experienced in mosaic making.

Alison won Kirsty's Homemade Christmas with her clever Needle Felting, so we are always delighted that she can spare the time to come and tutor for us.

Come along for the day and learn how to make your own beautiful wild plant, plaster casts using clay, plaster, plants and flowers.
​
In the morning we will collect plant material from around the farm and experiment back in the studio with placement and design to creat small castings.
In the afternoon you will make your final larger piece to frame.

Come along for the day and be introduced to the magical world of Cyanotype.
You will make your own beautiful prints and cards from feathers, flowers, leaves and grasses that we forage from the countryside, We will be using Cyanotype chemicals, water and sunshine to create the Cyan blue "blue print" images.

We had so much fun with this magical workshop
last year and can't wait to hold it again.
You will learn how to produce your own beautiful
and individual natural prints for your wall and
greeting cards, we even had someone produce a lampshade from we they printed last year. We forage for leaves and flowers from around the garden and farmland before taking them back to the Arty Farty Studio to create our bundles for boiling in the cauldron (told you it was magic) using mordants. After a while when removed we unwrap them to see what wonders we have produced.

£10 per session or £15 for the day
For artists and students with lots or just some experience who are looking to paint on a weekly basis in beautiful surroundings with other likeminded people. Please bring your own materials.

Lessons for students who want to learn to paint. Materials provided for the first 2 lessons.
